DECATUR - Incliment weather shut down the arts portion of the Lakeside Music and Arts Festival at Lake Decatur and Nelson Park Saturday, and postponed the Decatur fireworks show to Sunday night.

The music acts scheduled to play Lakeside Saturday will still play. Michael Scherer and Eric Lindell will perform inside The Beach House beginning at 6 p.m. The show is open to the public, and there is no admission charge.

Rain throughout the day kept the Lake Decatur boardwalk bare Saturday.

Sunday, the event's schedule remains. The Rodney T. Miller triathlon will be run in the morning, and music begins at 10:30 a.m. The art show runs from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Decatur Park Singers will perform from 7:15-9:15 p.m. prior to the fireworks.

Tentative plans for Sunday include a 7-9 p.m. performance by the Decatur Park Singers, and longer hours for the artisans.
