Those are some of the fantasyland matchups that could unfold in the Illini alumni basketball game being billed as "A Night of Legends."

The game, which tips off tonight at 7 at the Assembly Hall, is bringing back some 30 athletes who played for Illinois from the Flyin' Illini team of 1989 all the way to the Final Four team of 2005.

Honorary coaches are Lou Henson, who was Illinois' head coach for 21 seasons until 1996, and Jimmy Collins, Henson's assistant coach and the current head coach at Illinois-Chicago.

They plan to use a regular 15-minute clock in the first half, then use a running 15-minute clock in the second half.

"I don't know that you'll have a competitive game but you'll have guys having fun and hopefully no one gets hurt," current Illini coach Bruce Weber said. "Hopefully they will all survive and enjoy the evening."

After the game, the jerseys of 30 Illini greats will be raised into the rafters of the Assembly Hall, where they will be permanently displayed.

Tickets are available all day at the Assembly Hall ticket office at $15 each. The game is being filmed by the Big Ten Network and will be broadcast at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday and again at 10 p.m., Wednesday.
